Mary Conti Obituary

Mary Mierzejewski Conti,

Born in Milwaukee, December 26th, 1956 to (Late) Casimir & (Late) Delma Mierzejewski. After a long and valiant fight against breast cancer Mary was taken to a well-deserved, but far too early, final resting place on September 6th, 2024.

Mary was a proud graduate of Pulaski High in Milwaukee, MATC Nursing School, and Jacksonville State University. She worked at the bedside for both cancer and critically ill heart patients at County hospital. She was also a successful and energetic leader and president of the nurses’ union. Upon the closing of County Hospital, she seamlessly transitioned to program managing at Froedtert Hospital. At the time of her retirement June of 2024, Mary was the Clinical Program Manager of the Heart and Vascular Program at Froedtert.

When time allowed, Mary loved softball, bowling, tennis, golf and gardening. She never missed a family function and was a proud mom and aunt as well as an ardent supporter of all family members and activities. It is my firm belief that all the care and kindness Mary has shown to others over the years has earned her a special place for her final peace and rest.

Survived by Beloved husband Joseph Conti, Loving Son Quinton Conti, Brother James Mierzejewski, Sisters Nancy (Donald) Moore and Carol (Steven) Dain, Sisters-in-law Rosalind (The Late Casimir Jr.) Mierzejewski, Barbara (Michael) Nowak, Brothers-in-Law James (Sara) Conti, Anthony Conti, Nephews Sean Moore, Anthony (Beth) Mierzejewski, Aaron Dain, Nieces Gina Mierzejewski, Dana (Timothy) Mierzejewski Fuhr, Jessica (Late Bryan) Buck, Anne Marie Dain, Katie (Michael) Wedeward, Sarah Conti. Further survived by many more loving family and friends
