Donald R. Farley of Wilson, NY, husband of the late Nancy Smith Farley, entered into rest on Friday, September 20, 2024, in the Niagara Hospice House. He was born in Wilson on August 30, 1930, the son of the late Ray Farley and Marian (Gifford) Farley.

Don served in the U.S. Navy from 1950-1954 as a Seabee Electrician. He married Nancy in 1957 and worked for Niagara Mohawk for 42 years, retiring in 1992. Don was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Wilson. And, was a Boy Scout Master for Troop 66 for many years.

He was the father of Daniel (Gail) Farley, David (Jacquelyn) Farley and the late Norman Farley. Grandfather of Evan, Renee (William), Katherine (Alex) and Andrew.

A Memorial service will be held on Monday, September 23, 2024, at 11:30 in the Wilson First Baptist Church, 265 Pettit St., Wilson, NY. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery with a reception will follow at the Wilson First Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr. Lockport, NY 14094.
