Joan Mae DeMarco- a longtime resident of Ossining passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2025, with her family by her side. Joan was born in Croton-on-Hudson on February 4, 1935, and was the daughter of the late Clinton and Clara (Lupton) Dorien, she was 90.

Joan was a graduate of Croton High School where she was a Majorette. She married Carmen DeMarco, Jr. on April 17, 1955, at the Holy Name of Mary Church in Croton-on-Hudson.

Joan was formerly employed with White’s Restaurant in Ossining. She then was employed with Delmont and then Millwood Sanitation. She then worked for the Town of New Castle Highway Department until her retirement.

Mrs. DeMarco is survived by her loving husband Carmen, Jr.; her children Joan-Ellen (John) Conte, Carmen III, and Dale Wayne (Kimberly); she is also survived by her three grandchildren and her six great grandchildren.
